An Open House took place at
Trumpf Ltd’s facility in Luton last month, where visitors were able to see the company’s latest advancements in sheet metal fabrication machinery and laser technology. As in previous years, the successful event was proof of the need to meet face-to-face with customers and once again, the company was delighted with the number of people that attended.
In total, 170 people supported the event held over two days (12-13 July) and the feedback was extremely positive with many customers taking the time to say what a great show, great atmosphere and impressive Open House it had been with several orders being placed.
Visitors had the opportunity to choose among various sessions to discuss a range of topics, and the technology highlights included EdgeLine Bevel for automatically creating chamfers while laser cutting, the latest sheetmetal software developments from Trumpf Oseon, and automated welding.
The Open House also provided the opportunity to see the latest laser cutting, punching, welding, bending and laser marking technology live in action with technical experts on hand to answer any questions visitors had.
Celebrations have also taken place in Germany and globally with Trumpf marking 100 years in business.
