On 1 October, Johan Brengesjö (pictured), will take over as the new managing director of
Kockmus Maskin, which is part of the
BIRN Group. He will be responsible for the factory in Kallinge, Sweden, and its more than 70 employees, producing machined cast iron parts for customers in a range of industrial sectors international automotive, iron and machinery industries.
Mr Brengesjö brings with him solid experience in product management from companies such as Atlas Copco, Kompan and most recently Dynapac. Claus Beier, Group CEO at BIRN Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Johan to the BIRN Group as the new managing director of Kockums Maskin With his experience and strong customer focus, we are confident that he is the right profile to lead and develop the business in the future.”
Although he is new in the company, Mr Brengesjö is no stranger to Kockums Maskin. He has previously worked closely with several of its customers and is familiar with the company and the markets in which it operates.
Mr Brengesjö said: “As the new managing director, my ambition is to increase profitability and create sustainable growth. This ambition will be realised through the development of the company’s competitiveness and efficiency as well as an increased customer focus.
He concluded: “I will also work hard to promote a collaborative culture across the entire organisation by, among other things, encouraging the exchange of ideas and initiatives between profiles with different skills and experiences. The success of a company is always a team effort, and I therefore look forward to working with the team to set the strategic direction of the company.”
