Dynisma Ltd, a leading UK-based motion simulator technology company, has announced its new ‘state of the art’ Dynisma Technology Campus. Located just outside of Bristol, the 15,000ft
2 campus marks the latest stage in Dynisma’s ongoing expansion, as demand continues to accelerate for the company’s cutting-edge simulators, from both automotive OEMs and leading motorsport teams.
At the heart of the new campus is the Dynisma Manufacturing Centre, an innovative hub where the development, build, testing and commissioning of the company’s technology is already taking place. Alongside is the Dynisma Engineering Centre, new offices and the Dynisma Technology Centre, a pioneering demonstration facility where customers can explore and test the range of Dynisma’s world-leading simulators.
The site is already in use for simulator design and production and will be fully operational to customers by the first quarter of 2024. It is located just six miles from Bristol and a 10min drive from Bristol Airport, complementing Dynisma’s existing nearby demonstration facility, which has already hosted many international customers keen to drive the company’s world-leading motion platforms. Announcement of the campus signifies the latest step in a period of dramatic growth for Dynisma, which has seen it complete a seven-figure funding round from private investors, sign many new supply agreements and significantly increase staff numbers.
After starting with a simulator commission within the top tier of motorsport, Dynisma now has contracts with several leading global automotive OEMs and motorsport teams, with some systems installed and many others in build. As part of the company’s ongoing expansion, Dynisma has created over 40 new roles, with a major recruitment drive increasing the engineering workforce by more than 200%. The Dynisma team is expected to further increase headcount into 2024.
The company’s graduate and internship programme, launched in 2022, has already seen a host of new recruits become part of the team from the Universities of Bristol, Bath and Cambridge; the success of this programme demonstrating the high quality of world-class talent available in the South West.

Dynisma’s low-latency, high-bandwidth Dynisma Motion Generator simulators have attracted huge global sales and interest, having been designed specifically for automotive manufacturers and suppliers intended for advanced vehicle development and testing, as well as motorsport teams that seek to optimise driver and car performance.
The solutions for the automotive market comprise DMG-1, an engineering class simulator designed to help develop vehicle dynamics; DMG-X, a ground-breaking six degrees-of-freedom (DoF) simulator with an unprecedented bandwidth of over 100Hz in all DOFs, focused on testing ride comfort and NVH; and DMG-360, the world’s most advanced motion platform for dynamics, which renders the extreme handling of high-performance vehicles. The long-awaited DMG-360 XY motion platform was revealed at this year’s Driving Simulator Conference in Antibes, which adds increased ground plane excursion with 5m X/Y travel to meet demand from OEMs for a solution that can simulate a range of realistic driving scenarios where lane change is required.
Dynisma’s motorsport portfolio comprises a version of DMG-1 which concentrates on dynamics in racing scenarios, enabling accelerated chassis set-ups, plus optimised DMG-360 and DMG-360 XY systems. The technology is widely regarded by professional race drivers as the ‘most realistic technology’ commercially available.
