Yamazaki Mazak is hosting a special ‘Building Your Future’ Open House for customers who are ready to invest in new machining technology. The event will be hosted at the Mazak European Technology Centre in Worcester and will run from 5-8 December with a total of 18 machines on show, including all the company’s UK-designed and manufactured models.
Mazak has made significant investments in its European Manufacturing Plant in Worcester this year. With a successful recruitment strategy the factory is now running at maximum capacity, and machines are being built with very short lead times. The companhy will be exhibiting a full range of technology solutions at the Open House, from new UK-built vertical machining centres through to five-axis machines, the flagship Integrex range, turning centres and laser cutting machines.
Alongside the portfolio of machines will be a variety of automation options, including articulated robots, palletised automation solutions and specialist laser sheet metal loading and unloading systems. Visitors can also learn more about Mazak iCONNECT, Mazak’s remote service and support package; machine spares and servicing capability; and have access to technical support from applications engineers.
Highly advanced manufacturing facilityThe December Open House offers visitors the opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes at a highly advanced manufacturing facility, including Mazak machines making Mazak machines. Daily factory tours will take place highlighting in-house manufacturing, assembly test and shipment. Mazak’s finance partner, Finance for Industry, will also be on-hand to discuss tailored finance packages, including hire purchase and lease agreements.
