Sodick achieves double-digit sales at MACHAn extremely busy Sodick stand at MACH 2024

It was not just the stand that had exhibitors ‘green with envy’ at MACH — with double-digit machine tool sales accompanied by a large number of quality leads. Warwick-based Sodi-Tech EDM together with Sodick Europe had its most successful MACH show ever. Committing to its largest-ever stand, Sodick Europe presented six machines with a host of show debuts of some of the most advanced wire and die-sink EDMs, machining centres and injection moulding machines at the event.

Taking centre stage were the new VN600Q precision wire-cut EDM machine, the GL30-LP injection moulding machine with the new V-Line system, the UX450L linear motor driven machining centre and the ALC600G iG+E wire EDM machine with iGroove+ technology. Also on show were the AD35L die-sink EDM and the AL60G EDM die-sink machine that incorporated an Erowa Compact 80 robotic loading system with a Zeiss DuraMax measurement and probing system.

Bal Dulay, Sodick Europe’s digital marketing manager, said: “MACH was a success far beyond our expectations. which was evident by the large number of visitors we attracted. Everything from our inviting stand design, prestigious brand and component display cases attracted visitors to view our cutting-edge technologies. With a diverse range of wire and die-sink EDM technology, milling machines, automation cells and injection moulding machines on show, our engineers revelled in the opportunity to discuss the ground-breaking new V-LINE two-stage plunger injection system on our GL30-LP injection moulding machine, as well as the iGroove+ patented rotating wire technology on our EDM offering.”

“As a technologically advanced and environmentally aware brand, Sodick has incorporated energy efficiency into every facet of its designs and technologies. With the new Smart Pulse Generators, Smart Pulse Wire, Intelligent Monitoring Circuit, energy-saving pumps, iGroove+ and countless additional innovations, our EDM machines can reduce energy consumption by up to 30% with wire savings of 30% or more. As businesses become more environmentally and energy conscious, our investment in this area really struck a chord with manufacturers visiting MACH — it was also a contributing factor in some of the purchasing decisions made at the show.”

Ms Dulay concluded: The level of innovation throughout the Sodick portfolio attracted orders and an unprecedented level of enquiries from businesses as diverse as sub-contract manufacturers through to Tier Ones and OEMs in sectors from aerospace and automotive through to defence, education, medical and motorsport. We are delighted with our response from MACH visitors and we now look forward to exhibiting at MACH 2026.”
