Bristol-based
MACH Machine Tools, part of the
Vigilance Group and a leading supplier of DynaPath CNC-controlled machine tools, high-quality manual machines and machine shop equipment to UK and Irish component manufacturers, has reported that its attendance at
MACH 2024 was a huge success.
The company, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, showcased eight DynaPath-controlled machine tools as well as a broad cross-section of manual machines and machine shop equipment on its stand, demonstrating its ‘one-stop-shop’ credentials. Over the five days the company welcomed well over 1,800 visitors onto its stand and, as well as taking orders for nine machines during the event, also took a further nine orders in the week immediately after the show.
Vigilance Group managing director Dave Andrew said: “
MACH 2024 has been a great show for us. As well as generating 18 confirmed machine tool orders to date, our team is now following up the many serious and significant lead and enquiries taken at the event. An important, and noticeable, trend at this year’s show was the number of people making a direct beeline for our stand, instead of ‘happening’ upon us, as may have been the case in the past.
“This proves that manufacturers do not just know about MACH Machine Tools, but are also interested in what we can offer, and this ‘shift in perception helps account for the high number of orders taken on the stand as well as the 298 CNC machine tool enquiries and 115 manual machine enquiries taken during the course of the week.”
Specific highlights on MACH Machine Tools’ stand included the company’s recently-introduced MDV range of production-oriented, competitively-priced vertical machining centres which, according to Mr Andrew “created a real buzz on the stand”, and, of course, the company’s much vaunted DynaPath control, now a mainstay on all of MACH Machine Tools’ new CNC machines.
Mr Andrew added: “The DynaPath control is making significant headway in the market as manufacturers become more familiar with the system, and understand the many productivity and process efficiency advantages it offers. Visitors responded positively to the free, wi-fi-enabled remote assistance and support capabilities of the control system, with many taking the DynaPath Challenge which, using CNC simulators, allowed them to test the control system for themselves.”
Although not exhibiting per se at
MACH 2024,
Machine Tools Sales Online (MTSO), the used machine tool and machine shop equipment supplier, and sister company to
MACH Machine Tools, also benefitted from the exhibition picking up a number of used machine tool purchases from customers looking to part-exchange their old machines for new MACH Machine Tool models.
MACH Machine Tools is a company that never rests on its laurels and, in the next few months, will be introducing a new range of MACH 8-10in chuck two- and three-axis slant-bed lathes into the UK market followed, in 2025, by the introduction of new MACH sub-spindle, Y-axis models.
The company will also launch MACH USA, an exciting new venture located in Detroit, Michigan, in the coming weeks, and is gearing up to showcase a range of DynaPath-controlled and manual turret-type milling machines on its stand at
IMTS in Chicago, which is taking place 9-11 September, and later at EASTEC, West Springfield, Massachusetts, and WESTEC, Long Beach, California in 2025.
Mr Andrew concluded: “MACH Machine Tools has come a long way in a relatively short period of time. From only supplying customers with our VS-1 turret-type manual milling machines just a few years ago, we now provide manufacturers with a comprehensive range of CNC-controlled machining centres, lathes and turning centres, as well as a significantly improved manual machine range.
“
MACH 2024 has been a huge success for the company and, as such, we have already booked our attendance at
MACH 2026 — albeit on a larger stand. As well as moving into the US market and introducing new machine tool models in the UK, 2024 will also see us launch a new MACH/MTSO joint website and host a MACH Machine Tools’ Open House at our Bristol facility in the autumn.”
