Fibre laser cutting machines from JPS Machinery Ltd

Fibre laser cutting machines from JPS Machinery LtdA supplier of new and used metalworking technologies, Leeds-based JPS Machinery Ltd has been appointed as the sole UK agent for the product range of HSG Laser Co Ltd. The leading supplier of fibre lasers in the Chinese market, the company manufactures a wide range of machines for cutting sheet, plate and tube; it also offers a range of hand-held laser welding machines.

HSG Laser has already announced a significant investment in the UK market, having established a customer back-up and technical support centre in Birmingham. This is permanently staffed by a team of three technicians, who will be providing comprehensive technical support and parts logistics to JPS Machinery’s service team, which is ‘possibly the largest independent dealer service team in the UK specialising in metalworking technologies’.

Moreover, the Birmingham service centre holds an extensive inventory of spare parts. These include fibre laser sources up to 20kW, cutting heads, mechanical components, and electrical components.
Mike Jackson, JPS Machinery’s sales and business development manager, says the company is creating a demonstration area within its Leeds workshops for the incoming HSG fibre laser demonstration machinery.

This will comprise a G3015H pallet-exchange model with a 12kW fibre laser, and an X3015 — a ‘popular pull-out table machine’ with a 3kW Raycus fibre laser. Both these machines will be available for demonstration during September 2024.

HSG Laser Co Ltd has its headquarters in Guangdong (China), four manufacturing facilities in China, subsidiaries in the USA, Germany and Japan, some 13 branches, and more than 30 global service outlets.
