Huddersfield-based metal fabrication, finishing, engraving and screen printing company John Beaumont has ceased to trade and the business’s assets are now up for sale via auction, with the sale closing from noon on 17 October. Established in 1945 by founder John Beaumont, the company provided a range of services to support customers in design engineering quality metal product parts and remained independent until its closure.
Asset advisory firm Walker Singleton, which is hosting the online auction, has invited bids on the business’s equipment from its manufacturing facility in Huddersfield. In total, there are 220 lots involved in the auction. The engraving equipment includes items from Newing-Hall and Taylor Hobson, while print equipment is available from brands such as Crosland Avocet.
Further operational equipment in the auction includes pressure washers, work benches, a forklift and storage racking. All of the lots can be viewed online
here.
Dan Hey, Walker Singleton asset advisory director, said: “The online auction offers a range of quality sheet metal fabrication, metal finishing and screen printing machinery together with the site support tools that will suit competing businesses. We would recommend anyone interested in taking part in the auction to come to the viewing day and see for themselves the breadth and standard of the equipment available.”
