Preformed Windings has expanded its ‘state of the art’ operations by 60% with the offical opening of a new 11,000ft² building at its base in Rotherham earlier this month. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, was led by Jake Richards, MP for Rother Valley, which reinforced the significance of the expansion to the local economy and the UK’s manufacturing sector. There were also presentations from Preformed Windings CEO James Stevens and Pablo Valverde, deputy CEO of the International Hydropower Association (IHA) and a tour of the new facility.

For over 55 years, Preformed Windings has been a trusted name in the global service market, specialising in the production of high-voltage diamond coils for motors and generators.
