
High engagement, solution-driven dialogue, and cutting-edge technology — these were the defining ‘takeways’ from this year’s edition of
Metal Show & TIB 2025, Romania’s largest technical trade fair. In an economic context where efficiency, innovation, and adaptability are crucial, the show demonstrated the readiness and capacity of the Romanian industrial sector to embrace future growth and investment.
Between 13 and 16 May, a total of 4,013 professionals descended on the exhibition in search of real, applicable solutions to their daily operational challenges. From hands-on technical demonstrations to in-depth discussions with specialists from 191 exhibiting companies (36% of them first-time participants) across 20 countries
Metal Show & TIB created a dynamic environment for networking, knowledge exchange, and inspiration.
Over the course of the four-day event, visitors had the opportunity to explore more than 13,000m
2 of technological innovation, featuring live demonstrations of the latest equipment, smart solutions, and cutting-edge technologies for a range of industry sectors, including: sheet and tube processing; chip removal machining; laser, plasma, and waterjet cutting; industrial machine tools; welding and surface treatments automation, industrial robots, and specialised software; additive manufacturing (AM); measurement and control systems and tools; raw materials, lubricants, and environmental protection solutions; as well as smart factory solutions.
Metal Show & TIB 2025 served as the ideal meeting place for specialists and decision-makers from key industrial sectors including automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, energy, IT, and research and development (R&D), providing valuable opportunities for networking and strategic business partnerships.

Euronews Romania – National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest. The university was represented at the event by three prestigious faculties — the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Robotics, and the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering. The next edition of the trade fair will take place from 12 to 15 May 2026, at Romexpo Bucharest.
