Bowers & Jones achieves ISO 14001 certification

West Midlands-based Bowers & Jones Ltd, a King’s Award-winning metal-forming specialist, has underlined its environmental commitment by securing ISO 14001 accreditation. The certification recognises the company’s implementation of robust environmental management systems aimed at reducing its ecological footprint while maintaining high standards in roll tooling and rolling mill product manufacturing.

Managing director Jane Sommerville said the achievement marks a major milestone in the firm’s sustainability journey, reinforcing its responsibility to minimise environmental impact across operations in the UK, Europe, North America and beyond. With over 300 customers globally, the business continues to expand, recently securing new contracts in the USA.

Established in 1955 and acquired in 2020, Bowers & Jones has seen four consecutive years of turnover growth, driven by innovation and a growing demand for its precision-engineered solutions in both steel and non-steel applications.
