Wauseon Machine restructures for next phase of growth

Wauseon Machine restructures for next phase of growthWauseon Machine, a well‑established name in robotic automation, tube-forming technologies and precision machining since 1983, has announced a strategic reorganisation designed to set up the business for its next stage of growth. The company will now operate as two independent entities — Integrion Automation and Steelcrest Precision — reflecting a sharpened focus that aims to strengthen technical depth, accelerate investment and deliver closer collaboration with customers.

Peter Paras III, Cornerstone Corporation’s CEO, said: “This reorganisation is a natural and strategic step in our evolution. Our customers’ needs continue to grow more complex, and this transformation strengthens our ability to meet them with unmatched depth and clarity. As independent companies, Integrion Automation and Steelcrest Precision can focus fully on their distinct markets while continuing to be guided by the shared values of quality, ingenuity, and trust that have defined Wauseon Machine since 1983.”

The shift marks a deliberate next step in a multi‑decade evolution. Over more than 40 years, Wauseon Machine has built a reputation for technical capability across automation integration, tube forming and precision machining. As those markets have matured, each line of business has required increasingly specialised investment, skills and operational approaches. Establishing two separate companies allows each to pursue targeted strategies while still benefitting from the backing of Cornerstone Corporation.

Production‑ready solutions

Integrion Automation represents the continuation of Wauseon Machine’s automation, field service and tube end‑forming activities. As an independent company, it will carry forward the existing team and technical capability while increasing its investment in advanced automation technologies. The business aims to support manufacturers seeking greater confidence in automation integration, combining engineering expertise with a long-standing record of delivering production‑ready solutions.

Steelcrest Precision will take forward the machining and fabrication side of the business, building on the company’s legacy of craftsmanship and technical quality. Now operating independently within Cornerstone Corporation, Steelcrest will continue to deliver machining and fabrication services from concept and design through assembly and inspection, supported by expanded investments in equipment, workforce development and advanced manufacturing capability.

Although the two companies will operate separately, both remain under the Cornerstone umbrella and will continue to uphold Wauseon Machine’s long‑standing values. According to Mr Paras, the structure strikes a balance between independence and continuity. He said: “This reorganisation gives each business the independence to grow in the ways their markets demand, but they remain connected by a common heritage. That combination of independence and shared values will continue to serve our customers for decades to come.”
