Widia, a brand of
Kennametal Inc, bringing the full Widia carbide-tooling range to manufacturers around the UK.
The partnership comes as Widia marks 100 years since its founding in 1926, reflecting a long-standing focus on engineering durability for demanding machining environments. The diamond symbol in the Widia logo references this heritage, drawing from the company’s name, which originates from the German phrase “Wie Diamant”, meaning “like diamond”.
Under the agreement, Exactaform will supply and support Widia’s full tooling portfolio in the UK, providing manufacturers in sectors such as aerospace and automotive with access to cutting solutions for high-volume production. The range covers CNC milling, turning, drilling and threading applications across materials including stainless steels, hardened materials, carbon steels and high-temperature alloys.

Alongside product availability, Exactaform’s in-house engineering team will provide technical and application support, working closely with customers to ensure tooling is correctly specified for machine capability, materials and production objectives.
