Central Fabrications secures £25,000 business grantWalsall-based Central Fabrications Midlands Ltd, a long-established manufacturing business, is preparing for the next stage of its development after securing funding to invest in new machinery and expand its production capabilities. The company, which has operated from the town for the past 20 years, primarily manufactures products for the roofing and cladding industries and has become one of the largest suppliers to the UK self-storage industry.

The £25,000 grant, awarded by local funding provider Walsall Business Support, will be used to invest in a new CNC machine to improve efficiency and support expansion within its existing market, helping the business strengthen its offering and meet growing customer demand.

Long-term growth

Nik Humphreys, director of Central Fabrications Midlands, said: “This funding will allow us to invest in new equipment that supports the long-term growth of the business. The support we have received has really helped us move forward with plans that will ensure we continue to serve our customers effectively and remain competitive in the market.”

Adam Howell, Walsall business support board member, said: “We are delighted to support Central Fabrications as it invests in new machinery and builds on its long-standing presence in Walsall’s manufacturing sector. The company’s commitment to strengthening its operations and planning for the future is a great example of the resilience and ambition of local businesses, and we look forward to seeing its continued success.”
