Cotswold Machinery Sales Ltd — a Cheltenham-based company that provides high-quality machinery for the sheet metal and fabrication industries, including those specialising in switchgear and copper busbar manufacture — will be introducing new laser marking systems and associated software from the Finnish company
Cajo Technologies (Hall 6, Stand 659).
The Cajo Vega Desk is a tabletop laser marker for users who want a versatile product marking capability; it can also be used for laboratory requirements and educational purposes, being equipped with protective housing and an automated vertical door with a safety switch.
Cotswold says the Cajo Vega Desk is a multipurpose solution for most materials, including metals, plastics, soft polymers, and coated plastics. “This laser marker enables precise and permanent markings repeatedly with the same high quality. It is also one of the longest-lasting laser marking machines on the market. Moreover, CajoSuite — Cajo’s user-friendly marking software — makes designing and customising marking content simple and flexible. Indeed, with the comprehensive software, it is possible to design and create variable marking data — such as logos, serial numbers, barcodes, and 2-D codes such as QR and data matrix codes.
“CajoSuite, a comprehensive software for laser marking designed to improve production processes, contains features for designing markings as well as a simple user interface for operators. To increase marking efficiency, the software has two modes: the Design Mode and the Production Mode; the latter can support marking on the fly (MOTF) and can control multiple lasers simultaneously. Furthermore, CajoSuite enhances manufacturing processes with smooth integration to other systems such as PLCs, robots, machine vision, code readers, ERP systems, MES and databases.
“We will also be highlighting our Roscamat tapping machines, and Euromac Digibend bending machines, which offer an alternative to a conventional press brake. These bending machines are suitable for small parts and thick materials and give unlimited bending capabilities; these include bending flat bar, copper busbar and tube, as well as punching, shearing, straightening — and many other applications.”
