The
SimTek Group will use AMB 2026 in Stuttgart to showcase tooling solutions designed to address rising raw material costs and increasing demands for process reliability in automated manufacturing.
The company, comprising SimTek and Kaestner-Tools, will exhibit in Hall 3, Stand C36 during the show, which takes place from 15 to 19 September. Visitors will be able to see a range of tooling technologies aimed at improving machining performance while reducing resource consumption.
A key focus of the stand will be SimTek’s 3D laser-etched chip breaker geometries, which have been developed to enhance process reliability and improve chip control in automated production environments. The company will also highlight its modular simmill 9W milling system, which is designed to deliver high performance while significantly reducing the use of raw materials such as tungsten, the cost of which has risen sharply in recent years.
Alongside displays of real-world components, visitors will be able to explore a virtual reality experience demonstrating tooling solutions from both SimTek and Kaestner-Tools. The companies will also present their priotool service, which provides predictable express manufacturing of special tools through SimTek’s in-house value chain.
During the exhibition, SimTek and Kaestner tooling will also be featured in a live machining demonstration at the Spinner stand in Hall 4, Stand A31, where bicycle hubs will be produced on-site.
The company said visitors will have the opportunity to discuss applications and tooling requirements with industry specialists, including Jeremia Geiger, member of the board of SimTek AG, and other experts from across the SimTek Group.
Representing the company on the stand will be Domenico Laurenza, head of sales and marketing at SIMTEK, and Philipp Seyfang, senior campaign manager marketing.
AMB 2026 is expected to provide SimTek with a platform to demonstrate how tooling innovation can help manufacturers improve productivity and maintain process stability while managing increasing material costs.
