50 years of combined service

#600uk #engineering #manufacturing Two 600 UK staff members — Howard Bamforth and Michelle Ledgard — recently received long-service awards for clocking up 25 years with the 600 Group. Mr Bamforth — currently sales and customer support director at 600 UK — joined the group’s TS Harrison division as a graduate engineer and has worked in machine tool and work-holding sales since 1998.

Ms Ledgard is personal assistant to group chief executive Nigel Rogers, who presented the awards in a ceremony at 600 UK’s new facility in Heckmondwike. She joined TS Harrison as a spares administrator shortly after leaving school, before working as a secretary to the directors at Colchester Lathes and then 600 Lathes. She is married to John Ledgard, who worked for the 600 Group for over 40 years.
