Pershore-based Allen Gears, which operates in the power generation, oil and gas, hydroelectric, marine- and nuclear-energy sectors, has been acquired by GE Oil & Gas.
It will join the power transmission division of the Texas-based Lufkin business, which GE Oil & Gas acquired last July.
