Sheffield-based Riverside Automation has been the subject of a management buy-out by five of its senior employees.
The engineering company has a turnover of more than £2 million, which was built up by retiring MD Nick Totterdell over more than 20 years.
Employing 25 people in its two Sheffield divisions, it produces process control systems for projects in sectors such as rail, steel, water, renewable energy, utilities and materials handling.
The new company is led by directors Jonathan Buck (pictured right) and Steve Moore (pictured left), along with senior engineers Paul Bird, Daniel Power and Ian Shaw, who collectively have worked at Riverside Automation for almost eight decades.
