Bott sponsors Tom DaleyBude-based Bott Ltd, the manufacturer of workshop and in-vehicle storage equipment, has announced a four-year sponsorship agreement with the UK’s youngest Olympic hope, 13-year-old diver Tom Daley. The company will be supporting Tom up to and including the London Olympic Games in 2012.

Tom was voted BBC Young Sports Personality of the year last year, and he recently won gold at the European Diving Championships — the most high-profile contest before the Beijing Olympics. He said: “This four-year deal will help me to give my best at international competitions. I need to compete in these events to get to the highest level and fulfil my dream of winning Olympic gold for Britain, but raising the money is tough, so the timing of the agreement could not have been better.”

Bott supports a range of community and sporting groups across the UK. CEO Clive Woodward said: “When Tom’s truly exceptional achievements came to our attention, we felt that we had to support his talent and do what we could to help him compete. He is flying the flag for the UK around the world, and our sponsorship will help to ensure that he continues to do that and fulfil his potential.”
