HK Wentworth, which is based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, has secured £4 million in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial. It will use the investment to promote growth abroad; it is also looking to purchase the freehold of its headquarters.
Established in 1941, HK Wentworth offers an extensive range of products to various industries, under the Electrolube, AF International and EuroChemi brands.
The company has recently seen strong demand for its products in the UK and overseas, and its global sales are expected to increase by nearly 20% for the current year. It has a manufacturing facility in China, plus subsidiaries in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, India and the USA.
Managing director Ron Jakeman said: “We have been delighted by the success of the business, both in the UK and abroad. We have achieved strong growth in our chosen sectors and markets, and I am wholly confident that our business plans will deliver continued growth.”
