Bristol-based MACH Machine Tools (
www.machmt.co.uk) has reported that demand for its MACH VS-1 Turret-type milling machine remains strong. Exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing this week, the machines were first launched at last year's show and then showcased to a national audience at MACH 2014.
Matt Andrew director said: "It's been a phenomenal year. High customer demand has resulted in us selling 39 machines in the first year."
Available at a very competitive price, the machines have an impressive technical specification and are equipped with variable speed R8 spindles, Acu-Rite or Newall digital readout options, variable feed rate to the X axis, low voltage lights, coolant equipment and stand-on style base splash trays.
The machines are very reliable and are backed by MACH Machine Tools' responsive and accessible customer support and after-sales service.
MACH Machine Tools are exhibiting on Stand T98 and have launched a new range of manual lathes at the event. Visitors to the stand can see the fully compliant L-1550 large capacity machine machine (1,250mm between centres), which is equipped with a heavy duty 5.5kW/2,000rpm spindle.
It also features a rigidly-designed headstock equipped with British Matrix manufactured clutches; nylon safety pins in the end train, and chromium molybdenium gears and shafts to ensure a reliable machining process.
It has been a busy Southern Manufacturing Show so far for MACH Machine Tools with Tenga being appointed as an agent for the South of England, many visitors and inquiries plus a confirmed order for a MACH VS-1 turret mill — with a day still to go.
