#EMO2015 Vero Software (
www.verosoftware.com) will be represented by three of its Italian resellers, each highlighting different brands.
Vero Solutions (Hall 2, Stand H21) will be showing the latest release of VISI (V21), which contains more than 340 updates.
These include dedicated tools for creating and managing multiple cavities within a single tool, thereby allowing components to be modified faster and more efficiently. VISI 21 represents a release with a significant CAM focus, including a new look to the CAM Navigator, command consolidation, and new dialogue box consistency within all milling operations.
Highlights of Edgecam 2015 R2 — being shown by ProCAM (Hall 2, Stand H25) — include an upgrade to the multi-spindle lathe set-up, a new port-machining module for its five-axis cycle, and significant time savings through the enhanced Hole Cycle. Overall, this latest release has some 50 items of new and enhanced functionality.
Meanwhile, Taglio Srl (Hall 4, Stand B12) will be demonstrating WorkNC V24, which further improves CAM operator productivity and machining quality.
The new Rest Material Display has been enhanced to reduce machining preparation times. Other enhanced features include symmetry functions, the ability to import 2-D features directly from native NX files, faster collision calculations, and new functions for working on STL models.
This latest version of WorkNC also features a set of standard collision detection functions that cover the machining environment, tool holder, stock and machining centre. There are also enhancements for five-axis working.
