London-based Shimtech Industries, which supplies high-performance composite structures, assemblies and shim
solutions to aerospace customers around the world, has been acquired by Auctus Industries in a £141 million deal backed by private-equity firm Inflexion.
The buy-out opportunity came through Inflexion’s relationship with Terry Twigger, former chief executive of the Meggitt defence company and co-founder of Auctus.
He will now become chairman of Shimtech.
