East Devon-based Axminster Tools & Machinery (
www.axminster.co.uk) is expanding the retail side of its business with a new store in the Cardiff area.
The new facility, which is scheduled to open on 18 November, is situated at Valegate Retail Park to the west of Cardiff city centre and will be the eighth store in Axminster’s nationwide chain of outlets.
With 12,000 sq ft of retail space, the store will display a comprehensive range of engineering and metal-working machinery including those from Axminster’s Engineer Series and Model Engineer Series.
Retail Development Director, Darran McLeod said: “The store, which will be similar to most of our other branches,
will have approximately 10,500 lines on display and available in stock; it will also feature one of our Live Workshops, so customers can get hands-on with a wide selection of our tools and machinery — and access the high-quality advice and customer service we offer.”
