DP Medical Systems wins deal

Chessington-based DP Medical Systems Ltd (
www.dpmedicalsys.com) has won a contract from Cervical Screening Wales to supply its image-capture system for gynaecological examinations — MediScan — to hospitals across the country.
The MediScan system is easy to operate and offers a question-and-answer approach to data entry. Its digital images are seen as ‘benchmark quality’ by leading clinicians and have been used to illustrate medical texts.
Owen Pemberton, commercial director of DP Medical Systems, said: “MediScan will give clinicians working in the field of cervical screening throughout Wales superior image-capture technology, leading to a more-efficient service for health-care providers — and, ultimately, patients.”
