Warwick-based Taylor Pressform Ltd (
www.taylorpressform.co.uk), a family-run firm with a long history in the presswork business, has invested in a new Reha 600-tonne hydraulic press supplied by Zebra Worldwide Machinery (
www.zebramachinery.com).
Taylor Pressform started out in 1986 providing sub-contract services to the automotive, construction and general-engineering industries; over the years, the company has developed into a major manufacturer of replacement body panels for sports car marques including MG (B and Midget), Triumph (Spitfire) and Jaguar — plus the Mini (these panels are manufactured solely for its contractual partner British Motor Heritage Ltd, using its own and OEM press tools).
Managing director Jim Taylor said: “With fast-growing demand for our products, we invested in a Reha 600-tonne hydraulic press that complemented our existing plant. It was ‘made to measure’ and was supplied to the exact dimensions we required by Zebra Worldwide Machinery — and at a competitive price.
Our policy of continuous investment in plant and personnel has enabled us to build up a reputation for high quality, fast response and competitive pricing.”
