A medical firm has become the first company to move into a £1.6 million development at Skylon Place in Rotherwas, which is within Herefordshire’s Enterprise Zone.
MedDX Solutions (
www.meddxsolutions.co.uk), which manufactures and supplies diagnostic sample collection and transport kits, has relocated from another site just outside Hereford. The company plans to recruit eight staff by the end of this year, which will increase its workforce to 20.
Richard Senior, founder of MedDX, said: “We worked closely with the Enterprise Zone to tailor the premises to our own blue-print, so that we could enjoy a seamless transition. That was one of the major benefits of choosing a move to Skylon Place.”
The chairman of the Enterprise Zone, Bill Jackson, said: “By working with the MedDX directors from an early stage, we were able to create a facility that gives their business the chance to grow and thrive.”
