ESAB (
www.esab.co.uk/gb/en/index.cfm), the welding equipment and consumables specialist, has opened a new facility in Chorley, Lancashire, to strengthen its customer service and support its extensive range of brands.
Located on a business park within easy reach of the motorway network, the new 3,600sq ft centre incorporates the old Victor Technologies facility.
It houses a showroom and demonstration/training area, as well as a servicing/repair workshop, plus offices for customer services, administration and meetings.
The facility is managed by regional sales manager Steve Waring, who has 32 years of experience in the welding industry and 21 years with Victor Technologies — a world leader in gas and safety regulator equipment (ESAB’s parent group completed its purchase of Victor Technologies in April 2014).
