Babcock International expects to benefit

The defence and support-services group Babcock International (
www.babcockinternational.com) has said it expects to benefit as NATO member states in Europe come under pressure from US President-elect Donald Trump to increase their defence spending.
Archie Bethel, who took over as chief executive of Babcock in September, said: “NATO members who don’t spend 2% of GDP on defence may come under pressure from the Trump regime to step up their spending.”
