Cleveland-based Tees Components has invested in a new Toshiba TUE-200(S) vertical turning lathe, supplied by Leader CNC Technologies (
www.leadercnc.co.uk).
The company has over 50 years’ experience of offering a wide range of precision CNC machining services (and components weighing up to 70 tonnes) to its customers in industries that include power generation, hard metal products, marine and oil and gas.
The company has been running as a family business since 1963 and operates two sites in the north east of England.
Over the past few years, it has made a significant investment in its machining capacity, including a five-axis CNC lathe, a horizontal machining centre and now the new Toshiba VTL.
