Aberdeen-based Tendeka (
www.tendeka.com), a global oil and gas solutions provider, has appointed Brad Baker as its new CEO, as it gears up for further growth.
Mr Baker joins Tendeka after a 27-year career with Baker Hughes, most recently as vice-president of stimulation and production enhancement.
He has worked in key oil and gas regions including the USA, Latin America, Caribbean, the UK and the Far East.
Tendeka recently supplied a range of specialised Inflow Control technologies to Kuwait Oil Company, Abu Dhabi Co for Onshore Oil Operations and Petroleum Development Oman to boost production and improve reservoir performance.
Earlier in the year, it launched Pulse Eight — a wireless intelligent completion technology ‘for the digital oilfield’ — and Cascade 3 — a new sand control technology that improves recovery from (and extends the lifetime of) water injection wells.
With more than a third of its workforce focused on research and development and with specialist facilities that include a polymer development lab and manufacturing plants, Tendeka also creates bespoke solutions for well operators.
