Integral Powertrain Ltd (
www.integralp.com) is investing in a three-acre site in Milton Keynes, where it will build a ‘state of the art’ Technical Centre to support its rapid e-Drive growth.
Planned to be operational by autumn 2019, the new facility will double the company’s available floor area to 47,000ft
2, and there is potential for further expansion.
Once fully operational, the new centre will house offices and a large workshop, which will contain purpose-built test cells (with support areas for inspection, machining, electrical and mechanical prototype build) and a low-volume production manufacturing area.
The emissions and climate test facility will remain at its existing location in Kiln Farm, following an upgrade.
Integral Powertrain director John McLean said: “We are proud to announce our investment in the new Milton Keynes Technical Centre, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the growth of the company.
“It will support our expansion plans for the business, while giving our employees a great working environment in a ‘state of the art’ facility.”
