The first model of a new Morgan Motor Co (
www.morgan-motor.co.uk) car — called the Aero GT and hailed as the most extreme road-going car to date — has rolled off the production line in Worcestershire.
The 8 Series variant was first announced in December 2017, and it was launched at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
The British-owned sports car manufacturer, which was formed in 1910, will produce just eight Aero GTs, which will also mark the end of 8 Series production at its Pickersleigh Road factory in Malvern.
The Aero models marked a new era for Morgan when the Aero 8 was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2000.
