Birmingham-based Starrag UK Ltd (
www.starrag.com) had a hugely successful
MACH week, taking orders worth “many millions of euros”.
Sales and applications director Lee Scott added: “Visitors also commented favourably on our extensive experience of Industry 4.0 and automation — aspects of modern production that are proving increasingly important to companies of every size across all industry sectors.”
The stand promoted all product ranges marketed under the Starrag brand — Berthiez, Bumotec, Dörries, Droop+Rein, Ecospeed, Heckert, Scharmann, SIP and Starrag — although the focus was on the Heckert range of affordable yet highly productive and high-speed four/five-axis horizontal machining centres.
