Taking place 23 to 25 October, DMG Mori will be hosting an Open House at its Coventry facility, and Newport Pagnell-based Schunk Intec Ltd (
www.gb.schunk.com) will be one of the companies demonstrating its technology at the event, which will include live demonstrations of DMG Mori’s best-selling products with a focus on profitability, competitiveness and automation.
It is the automation factor that Schunk will be supporting.
For applications in confined spaces that can be an issue when using pallets and tools for automatic handling with a robot, the company will be showing its slim NSR-A quick-change module.
Also supporting the automation theme will be Schunk’s GSW-B-AGE compensating universal gripper unit, which accommodates wide tolerances and inaccuracies in all six degrees of freedom.
The company will also be showing its new Kontec KSC-F single-acting vice and KSC six-jaw gripper vice.
