Macclesfield-based Statiflo is accelerating its overseas expansion with its first business partners in South America.
The addition of Planalto Hidrotecnologia in Brazil, Serimport in Peru and Soltex Chile means that the company now has business partners in more than 40 countries.
Statiflo designs and distributes static mixers and other chemical process equipment for use in the water and wastewater treatment sector, oil and gas, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper industries.
Its business partners distribute its products and provide advice and support to customers.
Managing director Gareth Fry said: “Peru is one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, while Brazil has the second-largest manufacturing sector in the Americas.
“Chile has a large mining industry, which uses a lot of water, so there are many desalination schemes that need our static mixers.
“We are already receiving orders through our new business partners, and we are confident of achieving great success in South America.”
