Stockport-based API Group — a manufacturer and distributor of foils, laminates and holographics — has relocated its
Amsterdam warehouse to create a new distribution hub at SEGRO Park Amsterdam Airport.
The 1,700m
2 warehouse and office space gives the company a ‘state of the art’ site, from which it can distribute its product range to its European customers.
API (
www.apigroup.com) acquired Amsterdam Metallized Products in 2016 and has transferred the production of the latter’s coating and laminate products to sites in the UK and Germany.
The new hub will primarily serve the Benelux region, Germany and Scandinavia.
Oskar Schnitzer, head of sales for the region served by the new hub, said: “Amsterdam is an important location for the business, and the new site will allow us to continue to meet customer demand.
“Its location near Schiphol Airport is the ideal place to best service our Benelux and German customers.”
