Chichester-based Axiom Product Development, a specialist machining and tooling company, has purchased two new plastic injection moulding machines.

These will enable the firm to manufacture complex plastic components for its automotive and other customers.

The new machines will also be used to prove out tools that have been designed and made in-house by the CAD design team.

The investment of around £160,000 is part of the long-term strategy at Axiom to grow both sides of the business and expand into high-tech plastic injection moulding.
