Dugard brings the SMEC SL2000BS to Southern

Hove-based C Dugard (
www.dugard.com) is showcasing (Stand F260) the SMEC SL2000BSY — a high-end CNC lathe with Y axis and sub-spindle, suitable for machining complex parts.
Also on display will be one of the company’s new range of versatile Hanwha collaborative robots (cobots). The HCR-5 is a small versatile 5kg cobot, considered by Dugard to be the perfect way to introduce automation to the production process.
On hand to answer any questions on Hanwha sliding-head lathes will be Dugard’s latest member of staff — Colin Thomson, who has been taken on specifically to promote the Hanwha range.
