Seco Tools has appointed Fredrik Vejgården as president and CEO. Since 2015, he has been vice-president (strategy and business development) at Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS).
Before that, he worked at the specialist metal products company Luvata for 10 years, where he held executive positions responsible for business operations in UK, the Americas and China.
Mr Vejgården also has a background as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co, with focus on operational topics such as lean manufacturing and procurement.
Seco Tools has its headquarters in Fagersta (Sweden) and is present in more than 75 countries.
