The Southampton-based MRP and ERP software company 123 Insight Ltd has announced the appointment of Simon Badger as managing director (designate) and Emma Richards as customer services manager.
Formerly a 123 Insight user back in 2003, Mr Badger has a degree in Business Studies and joined the company in 2011 as its first customer care manager; he was promoted to customer services manager in 2015.
Ms Richards joined the company in 2014 as part of the customer care team, with a wealth of experience gained over 10 years in various manufacturing business.
Guy Amoroso, co-founder of the company (
www.123insight.com), will continue in the role of managing director until 2020, working alongside Mr Badger.
After the change-over, he will take the role of chairman.
He said: “Simon and I have worked closely together for over a decade, and this transitional period will allow a smooth transition to his role of managing director, while allowing me to take a strategic look at the business rather than focusing on day-to-day activities.”
