Plain sailing for machine tool manufacturerHawarden-based Chester Machine Tools has experienced a strong start to 2019, with around 255 machines despatched to customers world-wide (www.chestermachinetools.com).

Its most recent project was the supply of a Chester HB110/3 boring machine to a dockyard in Portsmouth; this took one and a half weeks to hand-build and automate.

Chester Machine Tools has a large range of industrial-sized machines and can offer machinery solutions for any application.

Sales director Anthony Edwards said: “The HB110 horizontal borer is testament to the quality of Chester’s custom-built machines, and its versatility means it can be used in multiple manufacturing and industrial environments.

“We specialise in providing bespoke machines to order, tailored to our clients’ specific requirements; we aim to deliver the highest quality and reliability for each unique business environment.

“Chester’s skilled engineers assemble the purpose-built machines, while also providing commissioning, installation and training as part of the total service packages offered.

"We can also offer post-installation support and planned maintenance for the lifetimes of our machines.”
