Following the successful introduction of Gewefa’s M96+ER hydraulic chuck with an internal-thread connection (
www.gewefa.co.uk), the range has been expanded to include an external-thread version that can be connected to all driven tools with ER spindles.
Gewefa says its M96+ER hydraulic chuck is a highly flexible tool-holding system that fixes on the collet location of ER driven-head spindles.
The company also says that being a hydraulic chuck, it offers “exceptional all around grip” on the cutter, while also providing anti-vibration damping characteristics for an improved surface finish.
Moreover, there is consistent spindle run-out and automatic centring of the inner and outer taper (to virtually zero).
The M96+ER is available in the ER options of ER16, 20, 25 and 32; these accommodate cutter diameters from 5 to 20mm.
