Liverpool-based Surface Transforms (ST), a manufacturer of next-generation carbon ceramic brake discs for the automotive and aircraft industries, has been selected as a Tier One supplier to ‘a major German automotive company’ and has already received an order for the production tooling.

ST (www.surfacetransforms.com) said it would be the sole supplier of the brake disc option on one axle of a new edition of a well-known model, and it could subsequently be selected to work for other vehicles in the customer’s portfolio.
