Cheshire-based Horizon Global — a designer, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality branded towing equipment and trailers — recently called on the services of MBA Transport to deliver and install a CO
2 laser from the UK to its manufacturing site in Luneray, France (

MBA had successfully implemented a previous machine relocation. For this latest project, MBA collected the machine and took it to Wetherby to be prepared for delivery. Once the laser had been delivered to Luneray, MBA spent a week assembling and commissioning it on-site.
Jean Chikly, plant manager at Horizon Global, said: “We knew we required an all-round, flexible and affordable machine moving solution for this project, so MBA Transport was our immediate choice.
The company’s engineers have the knowledge and capacity to decommission, store, transport, install and recommission machinery with one team, meaning we didn’t have the hassle of trying to manage several contractors.
"The move was carried out quickly and efficiently; and once the re-installation of the machine was complete, the MBA Transport team was on-hand 24/7 to offer support.”
Bradley McBain, managing director of MBA Transport, said: “Our mission at MBA Transport is to assist our clients with moves of heavy machinery in any way possible

"When Horizon Global came to us requiring an international move of its CO
2 machine, we knew that we would be able to help not only with the transportation of the equipment, but also with re-installing it.
"As well as having extensive experience in machine moves, we also have knowledge of lasers and how they function, so we can provide a multi-faceted service — a complete solution.”
