Newbury Electronics invests in staff & facilitiesBerkshire-based Newbury Electronics continues to go from strength to strength, with investments in both staff and facilities.

The company provides a full electronic design and PCB CAD layout service, alongside PCB manufacture and assembly. It produces more than 11,000 different PCB designs for its clients.

A key appointment has been Francesca Stockwell in the new role of business development manager (pictured).

She said: “We have extensive design expertise, high-quality manufacturing capabilities and excellent engineering support, all housed under one roof (www.newburyelectronics.co.uk).

“I believe that there a lot of opportunities for us to develop new and existing business, both in the UK and further afield.”

The company, which has been trading for 63 years and employs 90 people, recently completed the expansion and refurbishment of its offices and assembly facilities, creating three new mezzanine floor areas.

These new offices are occupied by the growing design team from Newbury Innovation (a division of Newbury Electronics).

There is also a new goods lift and an upgraded extraction system.

Managing director John Rowley said: “We are delighted that Francesca has joined the team.

“Her appointment — combined with the recent investments in new equipment and our facilities — puts us in a strong position.”
