Mr Tilsed (54) has a wealth of metal-cutting experience, having previously worked in sales with Fenn Tools and more recently OSG UK Ltd — a supplier of drills, taps, end mills and indexable cutting tools.

Having ‘served his time’ in sheet-metal manufacturing, Mr Tilsed changed his focus to metal cutting and has developed expertise in aerospace, automotive and motor-sport engineering; these are markets that are key to Gewefa UK, which has ‘preferred partner’ status as a tool-holder supplier with Tier One manufacturers in these sectors.

The company is also an exclusive supplier of tooling packages, working with many leading machine tool manufacturers.
