Bridgwater-based Trelleborg (a manufacturer of bespoke sealing solutions) has invested in seven MVR300 Starrett video measuring systems to support its expansion into the automotive and mobility sectors; these were supplied by Optimax Imaging Inspection and Measurement Ltd (

Trelleborg quality manager Phil Hartley said: “Optimax provided the complete solution for our application, which set them apart from other suppliers we considered (

“The MVR300 is a robust and reliable measuring system for the shopfloor-based measurement of safety-critical aerospace parts.
“Given the delicate nature of the PTFE material and intricate internal and outside features, the MVR300 is now an essential piece of non-contact measurement equipment for us.”
