XYZ Machine Tools has appointed Martin Barber to the role of ‘premium products’ sales manager, with responsibility for selling the company’s five-axis machining centres and the Robo-Tend machine-tending system.
He has over 30 years’ experience working in production environments and machine tool sales, latterly specialising in high-end multi-axis machining centres and multi-function machine tools.
Mr Barber said: “The quality and specification of machines such as the UMC-5X are a match for anything that I’ve sold
before — machines that were classed as the pinnacle in their field.
"This new role has me excited at the prospect of developing sales of XYZ’s premium products.”
